Description
This is a photograph I had wanted in my portfolio for a long time. The forest vistas from Russian Ridge, which include redwoods from Big Basin and Portola State Parks, are at the same time intimate and stunning - a combination which is hard to capture. After attempting in many types of light and conditions, I feel I have finally captured this oxymoron. This is taken shortly after sunrise, on a mildly foggy morning, with the landscape compressed by a 480mm focal length.
Original print ships signed, dated, and personally inspected by me. All prints, including print-on-demand prints, are limited in number, to make them a worthwhile investment.
