My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Thank you Mary Flore

Beautiful picture. Grew up on northshore so wanted something from there. Metal picture really shows the colors and picture quality is very clear.

This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

At several intervals I will sand the entire surface down so that traces of many layers show through on the final surface which is completely smooth, thus the texture is visual, not tactile. This painting one "The Founder's/Dock Award" summer of 2012 at the Essex Art Association's juried show.
About Gray Jacobik
Gray Jacobik I love being alive and all of my (now long) life what has excited me most is learning; about society, nature, how things work, and most of all, how to make a thing (house, garden, strong poem, book). Painting involves mastering a craft, and that mastery, for me, begins with honoring the tradition and the extant examples of it in our museums, galleries, and homes. And learning as much as I can about art history, current critical thinking, the tools and materials and their application, in the hope that one day, the possibility of actually making a true work of art—one that will momentarily take the breath away of a viewer or a reader—will find its way to my pen, to my canvas. I know that ‘it matters not who the singer...
