It is a beautiful image of White Buffalo Woman. The framing was done well. I am disappointed that the upper right side (background) of the image is much darker then what was on my monitor. I found that it takes away from the beautiful flowing dark hair of White Buffalo Woman. It would have been spectacular if the background was lighter. For this, I am somewhat disappointed. Stunning....it looks fantastic, just the right size and frame to captivate the room!

This was a birthday gift for my cousin. She absolutely loved it. She liked the artist's style and subject of the print (which is the neighborhood where we grew up). She was very impressed with the quality of the print and excellent framing.

The frame was scratched, the wire to hang it was done the wrong way around. Very disappointed. I have multiple photos to demonstrate but your system only lets me upload 1.

Artist's Description

Slow worm (Anguis fragilis), artwork. This reptile, native to Eurasia, is a limbless lizard, not a snake. Unlike snakes, it has eyelids and can blink. It is a carnivore, feeding on slugs and worms in its usual grassy habitat. Like other lizards, it can shed its tail when threatened. Slow worms are long-lived and can reach a length of over 50 centimetres.

About Lizzie Harper

Science Photo Library was founded in 1981 by Michael Marten, one of the authors of "Worlds Within Worlds", a book exploring different ways to observe the universe - from electron micrographs, to images of earthrise taken from the Apollo spacecraft. When Marten started receiving requests for the beautiful images in the book, he had an idea of setting up Science Photo Library. Since then, Science Photo Library has continued to work alongside world acclaimed photographers and the leading science and medical experts to provide a central source of the best science and specialist imagery available. Although the collection started with scientific images, it has grown to encompass all aspects of science and their impact on everyday life.
