Description
The snow storm “Medea” paid a visit to Meteora, Greece in February 2021. This is a rather abstract, black and white shot, taken on February 15, the day after the active snowfall. All water (including fallen snow) froze and long pieces of ice nicely hung down from the rock formations; these elongated pieces of ice look like stalactites, don’t they?

Meteora is the name of the group comprising many impressive and lofty rock formations: The height of the sandstone megaliths ranges between 1,000-2,067 ft (300-630 m). The rock masses were formed 60 million years ago, are geologically unique and listed in UNESCO world heritage sites.
Kalampaka is the town beneath Meteora. Kalampaka's ancient name was Aeginium (Αἰγίνιον). The town was called Stagoe (Σταγοὶ plural, male noun).
