I fell in love with this photo the day that Jan posted it. The cards are beautiful, frame able for a small space. I like that they have plenty of room for writing or doodling inside.

A hiking trail in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada after a moderate December snowfall. This ravine is part of an extensive trail system within the city which is maintained by the city for the benefit of hikers. The forest here is mixed woods - aspen poplars, evergreens, smaller shrubs like willow and alder, and berry bushes such as cranberries, saskatoons, and chokecherries. There is lots of wildife in these city ravines, besides myriads of birds such as waterfowl, herons, crows, robins, woodpeckers, and many smaller songbirds, there are coyote, deer, beaver, squirrels, moose, and rabbits. In spring and summer there is an abundance of wildlfowers such as wild roses and a plethora of wild berry bushes and small shrubs such as salmonberry. Throughout spring and summer there are always flowers of some sort in bloom.

Alberta has much to offer for the artist - mountains, boreal forest, lakes and rivers, aspen parkland and prairie, and I love to try and capture the essence of these in my photographs. Please note that the FAA watermark will not appear on the shipped products.
