Very nice work....v

I love to see a woman my size portrayed in a very positive light. It's about time. Fantastic work!

Baron Dixon replied:

Perhaps you'll model for me someday!

Baron Dixon replied:

Thank you very much, Clotilde! This was the first in my continuing series of Zaftig paintings, and this model was my first choice because she's stunningly beautiful, and she has a super-creamy complexion. She has a healthy "Inner Diva" that comes out to play when posing for me, and is quite the creative person herself. We're still working creatively together today, but in a completely different artistic capacity, as I am designing a logo for her new company. I like when one thing eventually feeds into another.

Love all your pieces but specially this one, they reminds me of Botero but in a sexy way and of course I like it more.

Baron Dixon replied:

I like Botero, too, Clotilde. He created this stylized alternative universe populated by those whimsical chubby beings. I consider my wacky cat paintings to be a closer cousin to Botero than this piece, just because they're so stylized. This is just me being straight-out romantic, painting a picture of a beautiful woman. It's great being an artist, eh? ;-)

Amazing how sensual it is. It works on the senses and goes around the habits of the mind to be impressed by skinny woman. Very sexsy. I love the light of the candels.

Baron Dixon replied:

Well, there's something to be said for beautiful women who are also built for comfort. They appear in our everyday lives in spite of the advertising and modeling industry's programming.

Hey Baron, even though I have seen this before and also am very familiar with the model I am in awe of it all over again. It is just plain beautiful.

Baron Dixon replied:

Thank you, Charlie! She was quite the muse, and brought a lot of her own ideas and personality to our shoots together. We may be working together again soon, but in a completely different nature.
