Congratulations on your feature in the Fine Art America Group "Images That Excite You!"

Actually this is one of the four Northfield covered bridges. This one is the Slaughterhouse covered Bridge. Yours is from I'd say, 6 or more years ago. The small evergreen reaches to the top window on the house in the background. and the wood guard rail is gone with only the posts still there. The rest is very similar except that there is now a Green sign with the name over the top of the entrances. I don't have a similar aspect posted on FAA. L#22

Deborah Benoit replied:

I am not sure if this bridge is still there anymore due to a storm. If i go to Vermont in the fall I will check it out.

Just love this! Really captures the character of Vermont! One of my favorite places for sure!

Deborah Benoit replied:

I hope this is still standing. Wanting to get back up there to see if it is. Thank you for commenting Joan!

This looks like the entry into the little village of Warren, VT, where we stopped many times while living in Vermont. I loved living in Vermont so much, with all its seasons, which I painted over and over, and miss it terribly. I've wondered if this bridge is still standing after last year's devastating flood. All your photos are a nice representation of that lovely little state.

Deborah Benoit replied:

I am not sure if it is still standing. I took this a while ago. I am from Vermont and miss it very much too. Thank you for taking the time to comment Sherri!!

Beautiful Vermont! A very pleasant scene, Deb~~one wouldn't be able to see the bridge and house if the leaves were still on the trees, so this is perfect! Very picturesque!!! F&V!

It was good that the leaves were gone. Thank you so much for commenting Will!!!

Round Beach Towel Reviews (29)

Average Rating (5 Stars):

The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

I bought this as a gift. I love it! Hope the receiver loves it too!

July 19th, 2018

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

very nice, love the colour not keen on the white tastle border but i like it, i'm going to use it as blanket for my hamock,

Artist's Description

I do not remember where in Vermont I was when I took this.

About Deborah Benoit

Born and raised in Burlington, Vermont, Deborah Benoit was always the one with the camera, ready to capture that special moment. It wasn't until after her family was grown that she became more serious about photography mastering the digital camera. It started with the Canon XTi. ...... She has expanded from photography to digital art and fractal art. There are so many ways to express ones creativity so she tries many different avenues. Her passion evolves around all nature but especially birds. Sitting and watching them, capturing their essence and spirit is just wonderful. She feels that photography and art helps to heal the soul and ones spirit, even illness. Digital Art, created by fractal programs on her computer occupies her time...
