I so appreciate your comment Shirley, thank you...

I have used ricepaper for graphical prints, but never learned to mount it, This is a beautiful drawing, elegant!

Alethea McKee replied:

Thank you Gun! The first rice paper mounting I did TOTALLY destroyed the painting I worked so hard on! I've learned to be more careful and do plenty of homework Thank you for your kind words Gun...they are inspiring. A.

Wonderful success here!

Thank you Skip...I'm glad you like my cranes...there's just something about comments that give me the "itch" to paint more and more. I suppose that's called "joy"? Whoop Whoop!!!!!

Thank you so much Mario!

very nice :)

Wow, I don't know how! I have to take one of those mounting courses one of these days. It's especially difficult to mount rice paper on silk scrolls.

THANK YOU Oiyee - I am currently practicing the art of mounting rice paper...wish me luck!! LOL

Very nicely done, Alethea. Sumi ink on rice paper is very difficult to manage and you've done a superb job.
