Dear Marsha, I so appreciate you like this, it is one of my faves, but has not done very well here. Not that it really matters, all that really matters is that it was here! And guess what? I saw my first hummingbird this morning, I swear it came up to our back glass door and hovered about a foot away from me as if to say hello!! Wow, talk about the little things, it made my day!!

This capture seems to be a secret . . . . like this beautiful butterfly was in hiding and you have found him . . . which, of course, is the story of getting butterfly shots! They are quite shy and don't understand that you and I are their friends! This is such a lovely image . . . being in shadow really helps the full beauty of the colors be revealed. . . . . .f/l
