Wonderful quality! Great experience - highly recommend this website.

I ordered this tote bag for myself and I love it. The colors are vivid and crisp. The fabric and handles are sturdy. I have already gotten several complements from others as I run my errands. They ask where I got it and I direct them to your website and give them the artist’s name. Glad I bought it.

This tote bag will be a December birthday gift for a family member. I was so pleased with it when I opened the package to inspect it. The colors were true to the picture on the website. The bag is sturdy and should hold up well. I’m happy with this purchase.

We love this image and proudly display it wherever we go. However, we actually prefer a smaller size. So... we ordered SIX more bags as Xmas gifts for all the women in the family. Six different images. And now we are going to order two more! My mom loves them so much, she can’t bear to part with them! Also, we were initially unaware that we could scale the images! We are delighted with these bags and know they will be a big hit at Christmas!

A fantastic artist with unique talent from mind.to brush. A truly wonderful lady. My daughter has also became a fan and has her own collection now of printed pillows. Thank you

Artist's Description

Originally I said to myself, this is a big red building, but I want to see what's inside. I wanted to start with a big ole block of red, but the colors started coming to me and I put in orange and blue. Each segmentation of colors is a block of time. After it was finished, a friend showed me a colorized postcard from shortly after the structure was completed, at the beginning of the century. The original photo was black-and-white, of course, but its likely that the colorizer was familiar with the building and put in the real color. Cant be sure exactly what it was, because it was somewhat obscured in the shadows of the overhangs, but it was a light color, perhaps a blue, perhaps a beige. And that was only the original. Over a hundred-ten years or more, it undoubted has had many lives. I was compelled to put an undercoat of titanium white on the canvas, and indeed I had to carve into the white with my palate knife to bring out the humanoids (see blog post for more on...

About Donny Anderson

Donny Morris Anderson, the King of Abstraction, began scratching out petroglyphs in the field at age 5, "borrowing" paint from the neighbors and filling in the scratched-out areas. This was his first art. Educated formally in chemistry, he forsook that profession to open his first gallery, "Different Paths," which he reinvigorates from time to time to this day. Painting and sculpting are all about the eye and the hand working together, so he considers that even the 30+ years he's spent in the trades to be training for his art. Donnie has traveled the world, and has seen some of the great art created over the past several thousand years. Like so many great artists, he began working as a realist and evolved to abstraction. He...
