About Lawrence Klepper
For over twenty-five years I taught Art & Visual Culture at El Camino College in Torrance, and since 2008 I have taught graduate courses on Defining the Humanities: Art for the Masters of Humanities External program (HUX) at California State University, Dominquez Hills. I have exhibited paintings in over fifty local, regional, and national exhibitions and am represented in one museum and numerous private collections nationwide. The first three portraits were color scheme demonstrations in acrylic on illustration board. Paintings 4, 5, 6, and 7 are plein-air watercolors. The last nine are on-location watercolors from a series titled 360° Orange Ave., and are paintings of the entire backyard of a classic California Craftsman bungalow...
