Hi Lois, Thank you for your so enthousiastic comment.Much appreciated! Congrats on this artwork where overhangs Claude Monet's spirit. The colors of this the river scenery reminds some Monet's landscapes .Bravo ! f+v !

Lois Bryan replied:

A huge thank you, Andre ... I'm truly honored that you associate this image with Monet, as his work has brought me so much joy and inspiration over the years.

My comment is exactly the same as one by Constance, above. It looks like a lovely Impressionist painting. Really lovely.

Lois Bryan replied:

Thank you again, Carla ... that's what i was hoping to achieve!!!!! YAY!!

So beautiful, I felt instantly relaxed, as an RN I would love to see more pieces like this in Hospital Setting, patient areas etc.. actually the whole world needs this view! Excellent!

Lois Bryan replied:

Shawn, that has got to be one of the nicest compliments I have ever gotten. Thank you!!!! If I could only pour the beauty of the day into the image .. that others really could feel and experience. The soft singing clang of the rigging of the sail boats and the lapping of the water against the piers ... the feel of the breezes and the warm sun on my shoulders ... right down to the sweet scent of the locust tree I was standing under!!!! Thank you again!!!!

It is so difficult to choose a favourite from all of your gorgeous artworks Lois, but this one reminds me of the train journey I took along the Seine to visit Giverney. You've created an Impressionistic painting with your digital art and I think it is exquisite :-) oxox

Lois Bryan replied:

Constance, I really appreciate your visit and your comment. This is such a beautiful little spot and I was there at such a perfect time of year ... but the photo was so blah. I worked it and worked it, but it never gave me the "vibe" i felt when I was there (this was a lifestyle shot for a model home shoot I was doing). I knew it had possibilities, but just couldn't coax what I wanted out of it. The blending of the digital painting really seemed to give it that "impressionistic" feel I was looking for. That YOU saw it too, really and truly makes my day!!!! Thank you so much, sweetie!!!

thank you so much everybody .. this is really such a beautiful spot ... I love that we can see the Annapolis capital dome in the distance!!!! So glad you all enjoyed the painterly enhancement ... that was big fun!!!!!
