Speaks Volumes is a depiction of the common phrase "actions speak louder than words". This was one of my earliest digital paintings, created in 2006. I used the Corel Paint software. I used the computer mouse to control the digital brushes as I "painted" the people, grassy hill, waterway, and flowers. Then I used the text feature to add the words.
I am a self-taught artist. I work with various mediums including acrylic, watercolors, pastels, graphic arts, film, digital photography, and digital imaging. Much of my work involves mixed mediums. I am also a portrait artist and illustrator, heavily influenced and inspired by the communities in which I have lived. I also enjoy illustrating sports scenes, painting portraits, and drawing cartoons.
