I think I know what was going on here... I always saw just watercolors alot, back when in the early 90's when I would stop by... Excellent having this complex of a composition on such a smaller surface and with charcoal!

original is 11 x 14. The charcoals at that time, just sort of pop up when I get the soft chalk out. This is from my fairy series. I hadn't done much charcoal since high school and college, nearly 20 years before. Thanks for comments Aaron. I have some stuff down at Picassos, this week.
