Spontaneous combustion is a type of combustion which occurs by self heating (increase in temperature due to exothermic internal reactions), followed by thermal runaway (self heating which rapidly accelerates to high temperatures) and finally, ignition. From Wikipedia This abstract I created several years ago. I liked it but did not know what to do with it until recently. I saw it in a new way, it is a powerful force which captivated me for the first time. It holds a frightening reality which surprised me. However I will withhold my view on Spontaneous Combustion and leave the viewer to his/her own conclusion, or to what they take away from the piece. Again there was no plan or focus in this piece, which is not always the case when creating abstracts, but when it does happen it is invigorating.
