I am the artist who ordered these items. I was disappointed with the fleece blankets. The image printed crooked on 4 of the 5 blankets and the 'plush fleece' is very different from the plush fleece blankets I ordered previously. No where near as 'plush'. These blankets were unsellable. Also, one of the tapestries showed up with a thread that was pressed right into the fabric which made it unsellable as well. The reason I didn't ship these items back was due to the fact that by the time I received the order, there was insufficient time to return the order in time to meet the '30 day' from the date ordered deadline. This is the first time I've been disappointed with an order featuring my art by way of FAA. Sadly, it makes me hesitant to order again.

Artist's Description

Spreckles Organ Pavillion houses the open-air Spreckles Organ in Balboa Park, San Diego, California. The organ is the world's largest pipe organ in a fully outdoor venue. John D and Adolph Spreckles donated the organ to the City of San Diego in 1914 for the Panama-California Exposition. This unique organ contains 5,000 pipes ranging in length from the size of a pencil to 32 feet. Concerts are held every Sunday at 2pm and on Monday evenings in the summer at 7:30pm. The outdoor seating accommodates 2,500 listeners. I was surprised to hear the organ on a Saturday in July at about 10am and surprised to find only two people listening to the rehearsal being practiced.

About Robert VanDerWal

As you can see from the various Galleries, my areas of interest are broad. I work at letting the subject speak for itself and strive to offer something that gets your attention because it got mine. I have been behind a camera most of my life. It started in high school as newspaper and yearbook photographer. After serving in the US Armed Forces I attended Brooks Institute of Photography. Most of my career however was dedicated to video production as a director of photography, camera operator, editor, and owner operator of a video production company in Denver, Colorado. Since 2011 I have returned to my roots in still photography, making the transition from film to digital. Thank you so much for your interest in my work. I...
