This is a beautiful painting! The artist knows my husband and we were so excited to bring one of her pieces of art into our home! It's beyond what we expected! It is part of the background when I do virtual meetings (which I am in all day long) and I get so many compliments on how beautiful my "virtual backdrop is". When I tell people that it's my actual office, they always comment on the art!

Love this painting and so many compliments as it's in a treatment room where my husband is a Chiropractor. His patients love it!

The Lion And Lamb painting is absolutely beautiful and very anointed. It speaks such peace to me. We have been furnishing a missionary apartment and as soon as I saw this picture I knew it was the one! I know it will minister to each missionary that stays in our apartment just like it ministers to me.

She is very like my sweet Emma and I bought it in memory of her. Emma's room is now my office but the painting makes clear that it is still, first and foremost, kitty space. This piece comforts my heart every day. Emma has been gone for a year and I miss her incredibly.
Artist's Description
The newest state park in Colorado, Staunton Park is an absolute beauty! This park was once owned by a family that wanted the land to become a protected Jefferson County park. As you traverse the trails it becomes quite apparent that this is a piece of healthy pristine wilderness--everywhere there are elk and deer droppings, and many apparent bones left from mountain lion kills. As well, the conifer forests are lush and green, filled with lady slipper orchids. This park almost did not open becuase of financial concerns within Jefferson County, but luckily it did open! With all of the housing developements and urban sprawl underway in Colorado, at least this huge piece of land will be preserved!
About Barbara Schultheis
Well, I guess it's time to tell about myself! I have always been a photographer/artist, but somehow ended up getting an undergraduate degee in psychology and a masters in teaching curriculum. I have taught middle school language arts for 13 years, as well as digital photography as an elective. Years ago, I attended Bucks County Community College, a well know art and photography school, where some pretty famous photographers had taught. Then I attended the School of Visual Arts in NYC, so I have had some training in photography, but like anything else, unless you are out there making mistakes you will not become a decent photographer. When I first photographed, I worked in film, and almost exclusively black and white. I did portraits then,...
