This photograph was taken this spring on the Elkorn Creek near my home. This happens to be where I used to fish in my younger years and continue to fish to this day. My kind of spot. My kind of shot. Very nice image. I love bass fishing, and even though I have a hard time fishing without my boat, I wouldn't have ANY problems fishing this area. Probably not a boat ramp around, eh?

Hi Mike, It is a wonderful and peaceful place to fish. No boat ramp. some areas of the creek have a lot of silt from run off of near by farms, but there are some good holes to find bass. A couple years ago someone caught a large brown trout from the creek. That is the first time I ever heard of the creek having trout. Thank you for the kind words and visit.
