Good quality. I thought they would wrap the image on the sides but it's actually just black on the side. Wish I could choose that side color. But good quality. Many complements from the bitches.

So clever and a brilliant use of color!

I first saw this image on John's Facebook page and was blown away by the vivid colors and composition. I would have loved to get it as a metallic print but decided there would be no place in my home that it wouldn't show reflections, so I got a canvas print, and I'm extremely happy with it. I was impressed with FineArtAmerica's service throughout the purchase process and how carefully the print was packaaged.

Love the graphics. Bought it for my kitchen. I also have a Neon Coca Cola wall clock. So it worked out perfectly.

Artist's Description

A very large spruce along the trails at Port Orford Head, stands out in the fog. Many of the branches support a nice population of Licorace Fern (Polypodium glycyrrhiza). I've been photographing trees for something like 40 years, they are very tough subjects, as photographs rarely impart their size and majesty. In the forest they also tend to blend into the tangle of branches and other trees. This is probably my favorite tree photo! Image featured in Oregon Coast Magazine. Planned from the start, as a large print, this photo loses too much, when printed in small sizes, so I don't offer them. Please see my blog entry for 10/3/09 for more details about large print sizes and pixels per inch (ppi).
