Wow - the water is so still! Perfectly composed!

Thanks, Lisa. This was shot with my Singh-Ray vari-ND filter with a 25 second exposure.

My duvet "Abstract Feather " is delightful. It compliments my bedroom and my own art perfectly. The material used is exquisite. Very pleased with my latest purchase from you .

Of course, Jill Barklem's artwork is so amazing! A beautiful way to display more of her lovely Brambly Hedge illustrations is on a duvet! Brambly Hedge has been a very important part of our family for many years. We are grateful for Jill every day. (The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 has nothing to do with the artwork-- I really don't like the fabric that Fine Art America used for the duvet. It feels terrible. I would've liked a nice cotton or flannel.)

Artist's Description

The Steamship William G. Mather is a retired Great Lakes bulk freighter now restored as a museum ship in Cleveland, Ohio, one of four in the Great Lakes region. She transported cargo such as ore, coal, stone, and grain to ports throughout the Great Lakes, and was nicknamed "The Ship That Built Cleveland" because Cleveland's steel mills were a frequent destination. The ship ie piered directly behind the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

About Guy Whiteley

I was raised in northern New York State before joining the US Navy where I became drawn to the technical aspects of film photography. During my travels I learned composition techniques, developing, and printing from serious amateurs and professionals. I eventually became more interested in the artistic side of this hobby and continued to explore more creative aspects. My interests focus (no pun intended) on the out-of-doors beauty of our world, both natural and man-made. I hope you enjoy viewing my images as much as I have enjoyed capturing them. All images are Guy Whiteley and may not be copied, reproduced, or redistributed in any manner without express written permission from the photographer. NOTE: MY COPYRIGHT NOTICE...
