Round Beach Towel Reviews (29)

Average Rating (5 Stars):

The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

I bought this as a gift. I love it! Hope the receiver loves it too!

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

very nice, love the colour not keen on the white tastle border but i like it, i'm going to use it as blanket for my hamock,

Artist's Description

The Castillo de San Marcos is the oldest masonry fort in the continental United States (Castillo San Felipe del Morro in San Juan, Puerto Rico is older). Located on the western shore of Matanzas Bay in the city of St. Augustine, Florida, the fort was designed by the Spanish engineer Ignacio Daza.[1][2] Construction began in 1672,[3] 107 years after the city's founding by Spanish Admiral and conquistador Pedro Menéndez de Avilés, when Florida was part of the Spanish Empire. The fort's construction was ordered by Governor Francisco de la Guerra y de la Vega after the destructive raid of the English privateer Robert Searles in 1668.[4][5] Work proceeded under the administration of Guerra's successor, Manuel de Cendoya in 1671,[6] although the first stone was not laid until 1672 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castillo_de_San_Marcos

About Greg Kluempers

Biography: I bought my first 35mm camera in 1970. Shortly after that I enrolled at Florissant Valley Community College to study art. I found the photography classes to very enjoyable. We studied composition and used photography to creatively express ourselves. At that time we were only working in black and white. In 1972 I participated in my first show with 10 other students. I continued to study photography and to take photos throughout the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. In 1999 I returned to Florissant Valley at night and in June, 2006 I received Associate in Fine Arts Degree – Photography while working full time. Finally this fall I am retiring and I plan on spending much more time creating photographs. Artist’s Statement: ...
