It was wonderful.it was a gift for my sister-in-law. She and her husband were stationed there 50 years ago while he was in the coast guard. She has talked about how happy they were there, and he died about 20 years ago. I hunted for one that had the mountains in the background and still showed the water all around. It was perfect, she was so happy with it. She called me crying. So , thank you!

Signature piece to turn my condo porch into Ricks' Cafe Americain. Very happy! High quality design and material (wood) and very attractive! I searched the web everywhere for a Rick's sign, and nothing else even came close. Easy to hang (well, not for me, because I was hanging into exterior concrete stucco, but the hanging materials provided are generally good.)

Artist's Description
A swing bridge crossing the St. Louis River at Jay Cooke State Park in Minnesota. This bridge was recently reconstructed to replace the one that was lost in a massive flood a few years ago. I also call this 'Tick Bridge'. I was just set up to take this photograph when my daughter screamed in horror as she found a tick burrowing into her ankle. So we went to the car to remove the tick, then we returned to photograph this scene.
About John Brueske
John Brueske was born and raised in SE Minnesota. He graduated from Plainview High School. As a boy growing up, he loved to take pictures with a little 110 camera and then a 35mm Minolta point n shoot. Around 1999 he became more serious about photography and purchased his first Minolta SLR 35mm camera. His photography quickly progressed from there. He took a professional photography class from the New York Institute of Photography. He received his photography diploma in 2001. Today John uses digital Canon camera equipment.
