The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

Artist's Description

Courtyard in Saint Paul de Vence in France. ----- Saint-Paul or Saint-Paul-de-Vence is a commune in the Alpes-Maritimes department in southeastern France. In the Middle Ages, the region was administered by the Counts of Provence. In the 13th century, Count Charles II granted more privileges to St. Paul, including the right to hold a weekly market. At the beginning of 14th century, St. Paul acquired more autonomy and became a prosperous city of merchants and nobility. In 1388, the County of Nice broke off from Provence to reattach itself with the states belonging to the Count of Savoy. These new circumstances gave St. Pa...

About Inge Johnsson

I have been photographing the beauty of America and many other places around the world for more than 25 years. My photographic work has won awards and has been published in several books, calendars and magazines such as Popular Photography, National Geographic, Smithsonian Magazine, and Texas Highways. Originally from Sweden, I currently reside in North Texas. I enjoy many types of photographic subjects and styles, but really love landscape, nature and travel photography. I use Canon full frame DSLRs with a full range of L-series lenses, and touch up my digital captures in Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop to recreate what I felt and saw when the capture was made, and to make the images ready for online and printed media.
