Thanks Lenore and Spencer. I love this area and it is amazing to climb to the top and into the Kiva - you really understand its magic.

I like this. It really shares culture and history. Very nice capture and works wonderfully in black & white.

This is indeed a sacred space. You have done it justice here. What a gorgeous rendition. I like that there are no people in this photo. Instant V/F.

Thanks Wayne - it is an interesting place indeed.

That looks like an interesting place Sandi. I like your take on it with the strong contrast and visual journey.

Thank you Mike - it was a fun experience.

This is a lovely village called "MAIKAMMER". The wine of this area is so good. It makes the people happy. What a wonderful picture you have taken, Philip! I love it.

I ordered this bag to be used by my very handsome 84 year old gentleman friend when he goes to water aerobics with me everyday, He grew up in Harvey Illinois as the oldest of five children in a economically challenged family. There were no books in his home and he was thrilled to find a public library where they let you borrow books to take home and read. It was the start of a lifetime of the love of reading and learning and the pathway for financial success. Thank you William Brody for creating this painting.

Artist's Description

Copyright 2011 S. Bronstein Photography. All Rights Reserved. This intriguing set of stone steps and ladders leads to a well hidden kiva in Bandalier National Monument. It is a strenuous climb as there is one more ladder which sharply turns at the top of the image and continues upward. It is a climb well worth the effort to actually sit in the Kiva which the Indians deemed so very special to their culture.

About Sandra Bronstein

Sandra Bronstein

Sandra Bronstein finds great pleasure in sharing the beauty of the natural world and its magnificent wildlife as seen through her lenses for over 35 years. Having been intrigued by many different elements, in both the manmade and natural world, she strives to discover new and different ways to capture these elements. Her vision provides a window into the ever changing world and, simply put, Sandra has captured and shares with us a simple moment in time. Sandra was raised and continues to reside in large metropolitan cities but has always had a love of nature and wilderness. It was due, in part, to family travels and being an "outdoor" girl which kept her love strong for wildlife and the environment. That love and respect shows in each...
