Thanks Vincent, Lara... Since several people have commented wondering how these 3D modeled scenes are done, I created a YouTube video explaining it. My FAA post about this is at: http://fineartamerica.com/showmessages.php?messageid=207251 The YouTube video itself is at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JHvrUPVH3bc Cheers! _jim coe

Love the whole concept of the painting on a slab of wood. I wanted a five foot piece to lean against the wall and this fit the bill. Great piece by a talented artist. Painting came packed very nicely, almost too nicely, it was a arduous task just getting it out of the box, but I finally made it happen!!!

I love my prints from Beverly Guilliams collection. I have my timeout chair #2 and Room for 2 with an ocean breeze. I hung them together and they take me to the beach, the place that I love. Thank you Beverly for your beautiful work.

I love this picture. The plywood used is good quality. I like the way you can see the whole picture with no matting or frame. I got the next-to-smallest size for a narrow spot and it is perfect.

Looking for more of the same style....

Artist's Description

This 2D render of one of my 3D digital scenes features one of my spaceship models. Here Lizbeth and Muffin use their laser survey instruments to layout a site for her and sister Marda's new homestead. One of my series using the imaginary "Colony Sisters" for image ideas and inspiration. In this one, I challenged myself to create a believable alien sky, wild landscape and vegetation. This scene contains more than 9.9 million polygons. Thanks for viewing :o) _jim coe
