Philip Wilkinson lives in California, in Sonoma County, an area of rolling hills and vineyards. He paints mainly in oils and pastels, plein air and in his studio. He is president of the Oakmont Art Association, a group of artists and others in the Valley of the Moon, California.
His work is shown in the Riverfront Gallery, Petaluma, and in other galleries and art competitions in the area, which has many artists.
He is also a photographer, and some of these form the basis of his digital art, which is a transformation of realism into interesting art.
