Beautiful print! The only thing I don’t love is the imprint from the wood at the back of the canvas. Maybe different packaging would help?
Artist's Description
Steam Locomotive by Kume Bryant
This photo is from Durango, Colorado, U.S.A.
Durango was founded by the Denver & Rio Grande Railway in 1879. The railroad arrived in Durango on August 5, 1881 and construction on the line to Silverton began in the fall of the same year. By July of 1882, the tracks to Silverton were completed, and the train began hauling both freight and passengers.
The line was constructed to haul silver & gold ore from the San Juan Mountains, but passengers soon realized it was the view that was truly precious.
This historic train has been in continuous operation for 130 years, carrying passengers behind vintage steam locomotives and rolling stock indigenous to the line. Relive the sights and sounds of yesteryear for a spectacular journey on board the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad.

About Kume Bryant
I am a Korean American artist living and working in Tucson, Arizona, in the United States. I love the messy process of painting and follow my creative path naturally in absolute freedom. Painting moments are a healing process, a mental getaway to quiet my mind. I earned a degree in graphic art and worked as one for 20+ years, but I have always hoped to paint. With my husbands' encouragement, I gave it a go, and it was love at first try. I am a self-taught artist since 2007. All my old and up-to-present works are on this site for you to get to know my progress over the years. My works are copyrighted. All Rights Reserved. Steam locomotives are so interesting to me. I think they're cool because of the engineering. I can't believe someone figured out how to make them move. John Bond | http://www.tntheavy.com/heavyhauling.html
