Stomach ulcer prevention home test kit. This kit contains a blood test for identifying the presence of antibodies to the bacterium Helicobacter pylori. H. pylori infects the mucous membrane lining the stomach. It can cause gastritis, and is also the most common cause of stomach ulcers. H. pylori may also be a cause or co-factor for gastric cancer as its presence increases the risk of developing stomach tumours.
