The West Virginia State Capitol is the seat of government for the U.S. state of West Virginia, and houses the West Virginia Legislature and the office of the Governor of West Virginia. Located in Charleston, West Virginia along the Kanawha River, the building was dedicated in 1932. Along with the West Virginia Executive Mansion it is part of the West Virginia Capitol Complex, a historic district listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

I have been a photographer most of my life. I started in the 70s working on high school yearbooks. I have traveled to many countries and within the USA. I have spent many years developing film and pictures in photographic dark rooms, then switching to digital. I have developed a new appreciation for high-dynamic range (HDR) photography in which the majority of my photographs are processed. I have lived most of my life in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia near the Chesapeake Bay. I just moved to Saint Augustine, Florida and I am looking forward to a new adventure in my photography quest. All images and photographs are protected by copyright laws.
