You can hold a bird, lock it in a magnificent golden cage, and it seems to be the same bird that flew free and had the whole sky to itself. But it only seems to be the same bird, it is imprisoned. They clipped his wings, they stole the sky. And the birds have no interest in your golden cage, which is a prison. And that's what happens with our love, we create golden cages...
I am a Portuguese visual artist, painter and ceramist, living in Chile. I have 3 children. I have had several individual and group exhibitions throughout my life. I participated in the 1st Andiamerican Art Triennial representing Portugal (1993) and I have exhibited twice at the Ralli Museum. I am a painting teacher at the Talagante Cultural Corporation and at the Penaflor Space. I work in a wide range of media, including oil, charcoal, watercolor, acrylic, pencil, photography, and mixed media.
