I carved 3 Kokopelli figures and one sunburst onto a 36" wide board, next, I needed to paint them. Sadly, I'm from Atlanta, so, I don't know the SW pallet of colors. That's why I bought your painting - to glean inspiration. Your pallet has helped enormously. Of course, I didn't slavishly copy your mixtures; instead, I created my own. However, it must be stated that yours opened my eyes to some exciting choices. I'm nearly done painting the 3-D figures. When I'm finished, I'll send you a photo if you are really interested.

Love this art work. It is the Center piece of my living room. We are a fly fishing family and this couldn’t have been better.

Just love it. I get a smile on my face when ever I see it. Such a fantastic artwork. Bobby Zeik has a great sense of humor, color, texture. The perfect combination of an iconic image and artistic expression. The posters came very quickly nicely rolled in a tube. The paper quality is excellent.

I am the author of "Frank K. Hain and the Manhattan Railway, the Elevated Railway (1875-1903)," published by McFarland & Co., 2011. My book has many elevated train photos, but not this particular one I purchased your art because it mirrored the ones in my book and is posting size. It now hangs on a wall in my office. The art work is excellent and the photo paper is very high quality. It is a top notch product and I am proud to have it on my wall.

About Elena Kolotusha

Elena Kolotusha

I am a professional artist, worked as a visual art teacher for some years and later as a freelance artist. Born in Russia I moved to Melbourne (Australia) with my family in 1998. I enjoy painting still lifes with natural objects like shells, stones, sea glass, feathers and also man-made things in very detailed and precise style. I explore shapes and patterns to discover an object's personality, which I believe, reflects the relationship they have with people or their symbolic value. I love to put some mystery in my still lifes, so people could wonder, think or recall something... My other passion - Equine and Animal portraiture. I work mostly in oils, acrylics, pastel and color pencils. Commissions are welcome.
