Yesterday I enjoyed the pleasure of painting en plein air on Anne Goetz's farm near Leipers Fork, Tennessee, with a bunch of my friends and fellow Chestnuts in the Gary Young workshop. You may not have heard of Gary Young, but you will. He is an excellent instructor with passion and enthusiasm and love of painting and love for students. I adore him!
His lovely wife Lynda is seemingly the Yin to the Yang in this relationship, quiet and pouring the coffee for weary souls with blurry vision who rose early on a Sunday morning to paint God's glory in the rolling hils of middle Tennessee, a natural cathedral. I adore Lynda!
