Congratulations on your work, Dan. I went to high school in 29 Palms. Glad to see the desert representing - especially since the art colony is in the high desert.

Dan Redmon replied:

Thank you, Regina. When I moved to the desert from Washington, DC I was surprised to see so many good artists in the High Desert all the way from Morongo Valley to 29 Palms. I was really elated when I discovered the Glass Outhouse Art Gallery in 29 Palms at Thunder Road and Hwy 62. The only restroom is really a glass outhouse. Yes, all glass....one way that is. It is wonderful as it has a tremendous view of the surrounding desert and the owner is great. Everyone loves Laurel Siedl and Frank. The photo 'Sun Meets Glass' was shot there. October is the best time to go as the < hwy62arttours.org > is on with art collectors come from as far away as Riverside, Orange, and LA counties come just for it and buy, buy, buy. Open my FB page Dan Redmon Studio to see my other works. I use a 2" chainsaw to carve wood. It's the smallest chainsaw in the world. I will be showing there in October 2015 and October 2016. I will also be the Featured Artist of October 2016.

'Sun Meets Glass' just received First Place in the Photography Competition at the Art Colony of Morongo Valley, Morongo Valley,CA and 'Wayside Chapel' was awarded Honorable Mention.

The quality of the print is very good. We consider ourselves lucky to have been able to order this for our home. Took us awhile to find a 12x24 frame but we finally installed this today. Thanks!

This bottle art was found while venturing across a desert gully following a flash flood. Venture into the desert on your own and look for the hidden beauty that waits for you to find. Take a jaunt through the many dry riverbeds.
