Sun Shines at the Gazebo is a breathtaking vista I captured at Mission Point Resort as we vacationed on Mackinac Island a couple summers ago. While we toured, dined, attended seminars and a delightful cocktail party with P. Allen Smith at the Grand Hotel, we spent the nights and glorious mornings at Mission Point. Being located at the opposite end of the island, this resort offered the tranquility we were seeking. I accomplished this rendering by doing lots of digital enhancements and manipulations to my original photograph
God has given me this gift and being a Christian, I always give Him all the glory for allowing me the opportunity of sharing it with you. More often than not, the purposes of my photographs are the result of seeing beyond what is drawing me to grab my camera. It is like an extra sense and when they are loaded to my computer, their purposes are revealed and thus the process begins. This revelation walks happily hand in hand with my desire to learn more digital creative techniques, explore and experiment with the end result enhancing what originally captures my eye.
