sitting on the porch
on a gorgeous sunny day,
the rocking chair begs
for you to sit, relax,
and enjoy the view.
It is mid-summer
and the sunflowers
are almost ready
for the harvest.
The wood planks
on the porch are warm
in the afternoon sunshine
and the clouds drift
over the farmlands
as a large tree
in the pasture stands guard
over the field of flowers...
