The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

The Original has been sold to an art collector from Delta, BC - Canada.
This is a modern impressionist palette knife painting. No brush was used to create the work. I only used different types of palette knives to apply thick oil color-saturated paint. I created this painting on deep edge canvas, with the painting continued around the edges of the stretched canvas. The painting arrives ready to hang, with framing optional.

I was inspired for this painting by a recent trip to Provence. All is so inspiring for me in Provence, whether it is an enchanting village, a glorious field of sunflowers or lavender, or a charming market. I am in love with this magical place!

Mona Edulesco is a French-Romanian painter and architect who resides in France and specializes in textured impasto palette knife oil paintings. Her preference for abstract cityscapes reflects her background in architecture and urban planning.
