The watermark will NOT appear on your print. Sunset at Neskowin Beach- Proposal Rock. In this horizontal composition, the vibrant pinks of the light from the sunset are pitted against the blacks of the Proposal Rock. Both the rock and the lighted sky are reflected in the smooth water on the gently sloping beach near the waterline. Surf gently breaks at the left of the frame, a few clouds are visible on the horizon and provide interesting color bands across the sky near the top of the frame. The surf line provides interesting undulating lines leading the eye from the foreground to the subject on the apparent horizon. Proposal Rock is not centered, but is about a third of the frame in from the right, the effect as a whole being that the scene shows balance between light and dark yet motion, rather than being a static image. Proposal Rock is located at Neskowin Beach, off of the tiny coastal resort town of Neskowin, on the central Oregon coast. Neskowin beach offers a variety of s...
