Description
Sunstar Throws Long Shadows: In the snowy expanse leading toward Bow Falls and the Bow Glacier, the strong flare from the sun projects stretched shadows onto the snow white landscape. This is the headwater of the Bow River which provides drinking water for Banff, Canmore, Morley Indian Reserve, Cochrane, Calgary, and towns further east. The Bow River is legendary with fly fishermen as one of the greatest rivers for rainbow trout fishing. North of Lake Louise, Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada. Copyright Greg Hammond.
