I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

Honestly I was thinking about the sun and waves when I started painting this but somehow the colors make me think super hero's, hence the title. This piece is two panels. Each canvas panel is 16 x 20.
About Christina McNee-Geiger
Painting and Photography are my passion. I have had a love of art my entire life. Growing up I never missed the opportunity to attend an art class. I was always in awe of my Art teachers. I went to college initially to study Architecture and quickly switched out of the program, as it was not for me. I studied Art History at SUNY Buffalo State and have a Bachelors of Art. During my time there I was fortunate enough to spend a semester in Siena, Italy and I traveled throughout Tuscany and to Paris, France. During my time in Siena I took a painting class with Franca Marini. At the time she was doing abstract art and she completely challenged my vision of what I was supposed to be painting during my time in Italy (Renaissance, right?)...
