The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

We live in the desert so the Palm theme resonates. The color scheme is brilliant and perfect. We would like to see more from this artist. Where do we look?

I love Swans! They are so beautiful and so graceful! A Swan's grace is shown in their beautiful posture, their gorgeous white fluffy wings, their graceful long neck, and the stark contrast of their facial marking of bright orange and black against the white of their bodies. We saw this swan on a small lake in Dallas, Texas. At first we wondered why she seemed to want to only stay right there on the ground and why she wasn't going out into the water. I walked all around her as she carefully and thoroughly watched my every movement. She showed no aggression toward me....she just wanted to know exactly where I was at all times. Later, my husband spotted her nest of eggs she was being so careful to protect! It was very clear to us then..this "Swan Protects Her Eggs".

I have always loved to take pictures. My first job, at age 16, was receptionist for our local newspaper, but the owners soon included me in taking photos, darkroom and writing articles. Years later, a terrible event in my personal life brought back a love of taking photos that I had not been pursuing to any great extent. My only child passed away at the age of 22. He was such a wonderful guy and I feel blessed that God chose me to be his mom. Reeling from his death, I sought some sort of diversion, needing to get my mind focused on anything besides my great loss. After a bad fall that resulted in surgery, I was recuperating at home and stir crazy. My husband took me out for drives in the country. We bought a new digital camera...
