Absolutely loved my print. The depth and details are spectacular and the quality of the print is fantastic. I framed this in a white frame and didn't have the exact size handy so kept the lower space intentionally open. I love how it came out.

I bought this for a friend who lived in France for many years. Now that she is back in the states she misses France her favorite country. When I spoke with her on the phone she absolutely loved it. It showed all the places she lived or visited. She loved that it had an antique flair. She is getting it framed when she can. This my gift for her to bring up her spirits. She has stage 4 cancer. We live in 2 different cities & are comrades & would do anything for each other. When I saw it in the website I knew I had to buy it. Great work. "Sylvia" by Thom Zehrfeld
The setting is Yaquina Bay in Newport on the Oregon Coast. She was moored all by herself on the Bayfront so I was able to get an exclusive shot of her.
In February of 2014, the F/V (Fishing Vessel) Sylvia was at sea and reported taking on water, that her pumps could not stay ahead of the leak.
Bad news! The Coast Guard went to the rescue. However, the crew of the Sylvia were able to fire up a third pump which helped immensely.
The Coast Guard installed another pump yet, got the water level down and patched the leak.
This image has been converted to High Dynamic Range (HDR) by combining three different exposures to give the image more detail and color, and then incorporating a unique painted effect.
