Wow! Great panorama, Mick! Love the cloud shadows too! f/v

Mick Anderson replied:

Thanks Heidi! The clouds were near the sun, but not to the east :)

Wonderful panorama! I love the trivia about the Rogue too!

Mick Anderson replied:

Thanks Erica -- Geologic history is fun to dabble in :)

Brilliant capture! I love panoramic prints. This would make a great framed print on somerset velvet paper, or a great acrylic, or metal print.

Mick Anderson replied:

Thank you Joseph! The clouds behind me put some really interesting shadows across the butte that day. Your comments are most appreciated :)

A great, expansive shot, Mick!

Mick Anderson replied:

Thank you Bill! One of those "had to be there" moments :)

So I odered greeting card and delivery was great (special package so it wouldn't get bent or anything). Really high quality with super resolution. Couldn't be happier and totally worth the price (shipping is expensive though). 10/10 would order again.

This solitary table rock formation is all that's left of an ancient river valley where the Rogue River used to run. The Rogue now flows some miles away from this landmark.

About Mick Anderson

While in college, Mick had the opportunity to work at St. Mary Lodge at the east entrance to Glacier National Park in Montana. It was in this magical place where he met several fellow students from other parts of the country who would change the direction of his life by introducing Mick to nature, the mountains, the guitar and singing, fly fishing, writing music, hiking, and -- most importantly -- the Single Lens Reflex camera! He had a chance to play with Pentacon, Yashica, Pentax, Nikon and other brands, leading cameras of the day. It opened up a whole new way of looking at the world, and started a hobby that quickly grew into a passion that has stood the test of many years. His first “real” camera was a Yashica “Electro-35”...
