Painted in the shape of a Celtic cross with a crown of thorns as its ring, this popular "Suscipe" prayer (latin for "receive") was penned by St. Ignatius as a reminder that everything is a gift from God, and everything should be returned to Him in service. His Love and Grace is enough. Yet, like the crown of thorns, it's a hard garment to wear without some pain. The original painting is available through the Sacred Art Gallery in Scottsdale, AZ.
