About Acrylic Prints

Mounting Option #1

Mounting Option #2

Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of an acrylic print.   Your image gets printed directly onto the back of a 1/4" thick sheet of clear acrylic.

The image is the art - it doesn't get any cleaner than that!

All acrylic prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with four aluminum mounting posts (Option #1) or hanging wire (Option #2).

The high gloss of the acrylic sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

There are two different ways to mount your acrylic print.

Option #1 (Mounting Posts) - Attach your print to your wall with four aluminum mounting posts.   The cylindrical cap of each mounting post can be removed, allowing you to thread a small screw along the center axis of the of post and into the wall.   When you're finished, simply reattached each cap, and you're done.   The mounting posts act as stand-offs and keep your print separated from the wall by 1".   All of the required mounting hardware (i.e. posts, screws, and wall anchors) is included with your print.   Click here for mounting details.

Option #2 (Hanging Wire) - With this option, your acrylic print is attached to a 1/4" thick black board which has a wooden frame and hanging wire attached to the back.   There are no metal mounting posts at the corners.   Simply put a nail in your wall, hang your print from the hanging wire, and you're done.   Due to the thickness of the black board and mounting frame, your print is separated from the wall by 1.50"   Click here for mounting details.

Acrylic Print Reviews (901)

Average Rating (5 Stars):

Ad said it has a hanging wire, it doesn’t. Has a big chunk of wood glued to the back with a hanging bracket. Acrylic distorts the picture in my opinion.

This rating is for Fine Art America only. Not the artist. I received this print on acrylic. It shows to have a silver back ground, but it was green-ish in real life. That didn't work for me so I needed to send it back. It cost me $32 to have it shipped, but $96....yes, NINETY SIX dollars to have it sent back. Fine Arts could have had a pre-printed label from their corporate account (like Amazon does) for it to be shipped back and then that ($32) amount deducted from my refund. They did not. So, basically I paid $120 to get a product that did not match the print online. Therefore, I will NEVER shop at Fine Art America again AND will warn everyone I know to beware.

I have seen this in person many times. I thought it would be nice to have a picture of it. I am so glad I got this.

I lived in the area and saw Mt. Rainier often. I used to call it "my" mountain. Now, I have a photo of it to remind me of its beauty.

Love it!

Artist's Description

Based on Edith Sitwell's deliciously nonsensical poetry, Ashton's ballet FACADE embraces the fun of it all with wholehearted and wilful abandon. Be entertained by a series of delightful characters playing out scenes covering Yodelling, Polka, Fox Trot, Waltz, and the Tango. Charles Willmott was invited to the dress rehearsals to prepare reference material from which these studies and oils featuring the Tango were prepared. Dancers performing The Tango were David Justin as the Dago and Monica Zamora as the Debutante.

About Charles Willmott

Born in the UK's Stratford-up-on Avon, the only son of artist and metalcraftsman Hague Willmott. Charles, although for the most part self-taught, studied originally at the Birmingham College of Art. He works from his studio attached to his home in Herefordshire, the rural heart of England, where he lives with his wife Susie. As a contemporary figurative realist he prepares graphite & charcoal studies before painting in oils. Charles has been painting since the early 60’s and in the mid to late 80’s he acquired a passion for the Orient and its cultures. During 1991 his first one-man show was staged at London’s Mall Galleries and was unique in featuring Japan’s national sport, Sumo. In more recent times Charles has worked...
