My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Tarantula Nebula. Composite image of the Tarantula Nebula (NGC 2070, 30 Doradus) compiled using data acquired from 1999-2006. This emission nebula lies 160,000 light years from Earth, in the constellation of Dorado. This was created by combining X-ray data (blue) from the Chandra X-ray Observatory, infrared (red) from the Spitzer Space Telescope and optical information from the Hubble Space Telescope. The Chandra data shows gas that has been heated to millions of degrees by stellar winds and supernova explosions. The Hubble data reveals the light from massive stars along with different stages of star birth, including embryonic stars a few thousand years old still wrapped in cocoons of dark gas.
