About Doug Shanaman
Doug Shanaman grew up on Oahu, Kauai and Maui with a love of anything to do with the ocean, bays and beaches of Hawaii. Sailing, surfing and snorkeling were his favorite pastimes until he discovered the world of photography. Eventually he traded in his Hawaiian sling for an underwater camera and a goal of recording the beauty and wonders of Hawaii’s coastal reefs and sea life.
