I bought this as a gift for my daughter and she loved it. The tuxedo cat painting was beautifully done. The blue and purple background was perfect to showcase the artist rendering of the cat.

Was just fooling around with high and low frequency retouching to deal with acne, teens are so good for that sort of thing, and I happened across this old shot. While the "commercial" plug-ins are pretty good for that sort of thing it's nice to develope skills that let a feller do the work with just what comes with Photoshop out of the box. So I had at it and danged if I'm not pleased with the results.
I love this kid's eyes.
I used to make my living as a cinematographer and then a stroke put an end to that career. However still-photography is something I can yet do and I'm having the time of my life with it. The nice thing about working as a "fine art" photographer is that there are no producers, agencies, directors, clients, or other committee members dictating how and what I should shoot or do. The only people I have to please are you and me. Very recently I learned to my chagrin that there were still one or two people who did have influence over what I could/should do or not do.
