Prints are lovely, shipping was exorbitant. I ordered from an Irish artist’s (Val Byrne) website, to be delivered to an Irish address, and it wasn’t until completing the order that I saw shipping was going to be 55 pounds sterling. It was not immediately clear from the artist’s website that the prints would ship from anywhere far away enough to justify such a cost, nor that the order would be fulfilled by a third party in America.

Artist's Description
I paint a lot of papers, photograph them, and then combine those photographs to create collages and photomontages such as this. This one contains ink stains (the circular "moons"), close-ups of postage stamps, silk, lines drawn in ink, and more. Not unlike a physical collage, I can move these papers around in various combinations. It's incredibly fun stuff! Hope you like this one.

I'm a photographer, writer, educator based in the Pacific Northwest, specializing in photomontage work, combining photos I've taken of rust, walls, peeling paint, birds, postage stamps, trees, etc. into images that are completely new, different, and often weird.
