The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

Jim is a self-taught photographer of nature, landscapes,and skyscapes. As a retired meteorologist, and astronomy hobbiest, Jim enjoys observing and photographing the sky, day or night. Jim has served as a Volunteer-in-Parks (astronomer) at Bryce Canyon National Park for 2 years, and will be serving at Capitol Reef National Park this fall. Originally from the Chicago area, Jim is now living in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in western North Carolina. He is a member of the Valley River Arts Guild at the Murphy Art Center. Jim enjoys traveling with camera, especially to our beautiful National and State Parks and other scenic areas. Jim also dabbles in astrophotography with an 8 inch Celestron telescope, when skies are clear and dark.
