The Art of Spring shows the world as we all see it in the spring, fresh, bright, after a long cold winter; but we only see a small sliver of light, not even knowing what else is out there that we do not see.
The Eye of Horus, an Egyptian Hieroglyphic, is about perseverance and sacrifice. We can see more if we keep trying or if we knew how.
The World is awakening. The World is realizing it does not see all of the light and we cannot keep ignoring it.
This painting starts with the sun and ROYGBV's from prisms. If you hold a prism up to sunlight this is what you will see on the wall. What you do not see on the wall is the infrared light below and the ultraviolet light above. They are there, we just cannot see them. There are many things there that we cannot see, hear, or smell. What if we could see creatures that only reflect infra-red light like our bodies only reflect pink light?
Below the iris (which is responsible for how much light gets let in) is the surreal image of a man with a ROYGBV head he is limited to being what he can see. I call him ROYGBV man or Roy man for short. His head shows the limited colors of light he can see not knowing what else is out there. What if he could "see" more? Imagine the possibilities!
